I owned the RMAX first Excellent machine but I’ve settled into trail riding KRX does ride better and it switches for 4w lock easier than the Rmax but both excellent choices

I love the side by side ride but I honestly don't like the trailer and hauling cost. No one talks about that. New garages don't fit full size trucks even less a trailer with a car. I ride a jeep for that reason. They pass me on the trails and that is okay too.

How hard was it to strip the interior? I'm about to add a fair amount of lighting accessories and stripping the interior appears to be a PITA in order to wire everything.

Just picked up a 23 talon x4 and I'm looking at getting some of the 32" Terrabites. Ground clearance is a must here in Southern Utah. Is the talon in this vid stock aside from the obvious tire upgrades? I don't want to get the tires if it also means I have to get a turbo/exhaust/tuner.

Defenders are very short lived here in New Zealand. Gearboxes self destruct, engine very prone to dusting, steering racks failure, front diffs blowing all within 2 years. Beyond that chassis crack, engine dusting. The speedo cluster dies after hrs exceeded. Get rid of that filter and plumb in a Racor Snapp water trap sediment filter... thank me later.

I have one for each vehicle. They could improve the product by including a small supply of the correct fuses.

The market is reasonable at the moment. I bought mine with 3k miles for 12k, put like 1.5k into it. Bought an enclosed trailer for 7 and did a toy hauler conversion. I got a machine and trailer for less than my fathers machine alone, he got his machine in 2021 for 23k + about 4k into it.

I lifted my T4 LE and added big tire beadlocks .. now it doesn't fit in the garage. I need one of those RV garages.. pretty sweet. Appreciate your effort adding some "scientific monitoring tools" aspect to this quest.

I bought a used 2019 Teryx a few years ago with less than 400 miles for $10,000. I put a couple thousand worth of upgrades on it and could not be happier. The 58 HP number is very deceptive. If you didn't know the numbers you would guess it's much higher. I use mine for hunting in very rocky mountainous terrain and it's nearly unstoppable. The main reason I went with the Teryx is extreme reliability. These things are a bulletproof proven design.

Late to the party… but the UNI Filter is not designed to run through the denser foam first. You need it outside the air box like on the horn outside the box. Then you wouldn’t have to open up your air box and constantly breaking the air box seal either. Do it like the BVC style. Then you can have a pre-filter, then the coarse foam, then the dense foam. Will last longer between services.

Line the inside of the plastic with dynomat to reduce sound.

If you been to Glamis in the 80’s and 90’s. It was wilder and crazier than today.

So to add a set of whips, I should get a fuse box, power it from the battery, and the red and black wires from the whips should be wired to the fuse box, from there then, the wire from the whips goes to the rocker switch. Now the rocker switch, should the power and the ground also come from the fuse box to power the rocker switch?

For the mirrors, I understand you ran them to the bus bar. Obviously you connect the positive and negative, but where do you connect the neutral white wire? There is an empty space in the middle of the bus bar with nothing connecting to it. Is that where the white neutral goes? And if so, there is no nut or anything there to hold it down
